AGARTALA, April 13 (TIWN): Opposition leader Animesh Debbarma today has talked to media after he visited Asharam Bari area and held a meeting with the District Magistrate. He notified the DM of various issues which he was informed during the visit. Talking to media, Animesh Debbarma said, “We have been visiting the area for last few days and the public have given us written grievance. For long 25 years the CPM was in power claiming a Golden age was given. Then in last 5 years BJP Govt ruled under the tagmark of Double Engine Govt adding that Hira era has been gifted. We wish the Govt may get success but after witnessing the real situation, we have to say that from drinking water to roadways, there are various problems which are being faced by the people there”.
