BISHALGARH, April 11 (TIWN): Tension erupted in Bishalgarh hospital on Tuesday after a woman gave birth to her dead baby at her home less than an hour after she had her checkup at Bishalgarh SDMO Jyotirmoy Das’s private chamber. According to the patient party, Tania Lashkar has been a patient of Jyotirmoy Das for last 9 months and she was supposed to deliver her baby on next month, but suddenly, she was facing troubles in her body and taken to Doctor Jyotirmoy Das, but Doctor told them that everything seems okay and as she does not have any pain, she can’t be taken for delivery now.

The Doctor however suggested the patient party go for sonography, but as soon as they reached home, she faced trouble again. At last, she delivered her baby at home, though the infant was dead.

The SDMO allegedly turned furious to see journalists in the hospital. Talking to media, he said later that the woman did not complain about any pain and so it was not possible for him to suggest anything without a sonography report.

Question also raised over SDMO’s private chamber business which was running at the hospital duty time too.
