AGARTALA, April 2 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury on Sunday blasted BJP led State Govt and Tripura Assembly Deputy Speaker Biswabandhu Sen for not taking any action against its porn-addicted MLA who was recently captured in Tripura Assembly while watching porn during Assembly discussions on March 27. Jitendra Chowdhury said, he is shocked over the attitude of the Govt towards the heinous crime committed BJP MLA Jadab Lal Nath when the social media and top national media are ruining Tripura’s reputation because of the serious crime. “So many days have crossed after the incident but no action yet has been initiated by the BJP Govt. This is unfortunate. The Assembly Speaker is showing excuse of getting no written complaint. Can’t he see how this news is getting viral and covered by all national media channels ?”, said Chowdhury.
Jitendra Chowdhury also slammed a section of BJP group and a very little numbers of media have taken attempt that Jadab Lal Nath is digitally ignorant.
“Jadab Lal Nath was rusticated from CPI-M party for such activities. He is using social media from 2016 and now few are claiming that Jadab Lal is ignorant digitally ? He was watching the video for more than a minute. We demand that the Govt must take immediate action against the culprit”, said Jitendra Chowdhury.
Jitendra Chowdhury also blasted Minister Ratan Lal Nath for his support to such a criminal MLA like Jadab Lal Nath. It was said on the ground that before few days of the incident, Ratan Lal Nath had advised opposition to learn Maths and Politics from Jadab Lal Nath.
