AGARTALA, April 2 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has labeled the porn clip-watching incident by BJP MLA Jadab Lal Nath a cyber crime. Congress MLA Gopal Roy has demanded a judicial investigation into the matter. Roy said, “In the Assembly, opposition party MLAs are not allowed to speak, our microphones are made off. I say openly that Speaker Biswabandhu Sen is working for the ruling party when he is sitting on speaker’s chair. If he has courage, he must order for a judicial probe into the matter. It is a matter of cyber crime. What has exactly happened and how could he do it all these must be investigated. After the probe, disciplinary order must be taken against the MLA”. Congress State President Birjit Sinha said, Speaker must take a suo-moto as it's not a subject of FIR. Sinha said, the MLA must be removed from the Assembly.
However, it is clearly visible in the viral video that the MLA was watching porn and when asked by national media, Jadab Lal Nath goes desperate claiming it happened by mistake. Netizens slammed rubbish excuse as they are asking how porn clips can play automatically? Action is still a matter of far-away, even though no reaction came from the BJP party and Govt yet. The first-ever reaction from Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha came on Friday about his party MLA’s porn-watching scandal in the Assembly. The reaction was “escaping” from media persons after a loud laugh.
As soon as a journalist raised the MLA issues, CM laughed aloud and hid his face with his left hand and immediately left the place.
The issue is boiling since a video was made viral on social media where BJP MLA Jadab Lal Nath was seen watching porn clips during Assembly session.
It’s now more than 72 hours but no action so far was taken against the MLA. BJP Party and the Govt are fully silent over the issue. Assembly Speaker Biswabandhu Sen claimed that even though he is aware of the viral video but no written complaint came to him. Opposition parties have demanded the termination of the MLA immediately.
