AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN): 18 years old School girl’s dead body recovered in a hanging state mysteriously. The incident took place in Koroilong area under Teliamura PS.

18 years old School girl named Payal Das, daughter of Bhanu Das of Koroilong area, took a drastic step by hanging on Wednesday, her hanging body was witnessed by her family members.

A local said, Payel's mother was not at home during the incident took place. Later, after reaching home, Payel's mother noticed Payel’s hanging body and started screaming, hearing her screams local people rushed at her house.

The news was reported to Teliamura PS, after receiving information about the incident, the police of Teliamura PS reached the spot, recovered the deceased, and brought it to the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital for post-mortem. After Post-mortem the Doctor on duty handed over the body to the family.

However, the main reason behind the suicide remains unclear. Rumors are spreading in the area, that the suicide happened due to love affair.
