AGARTALA, March 26 (TIWN): As a part of nationwide protest, Tripura Congress Party organized a Satyagraha movement at the foot of the Gandhi statue adjacent in Circuit House area to protest against Rahul Gandhi's disqualification of the MP post.
Congress leader Ashish Saha said that Rahul Gandhi’s voice has been attempted to be stopped by disqualifying him from MP Post.
“When Rahul Gandhi started his Bharat-Jodo yatra, people extended massive support towards him. There were huge attempts taken by Modi Govt to stop the movement but Modi Govt failed. Now to suppress the voice of Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament this move was taken stopping him from contesting Election for 8 years. We condemn it. Congress workers will go ahead on Rahul Gandhi’s shown path and no intrigue can stop Rahul Gandhi”, said Asish Saha.
Congress today in the entire country organized Satyagraha movement against the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi's MP Post.
