KAILASHAHAR, March 25 (TIWN): Illegally entered Bangladeshi citizens were detained again in Tripura. The incident happened in Gopinathpur village under Irani police station in Kailashahar. However, due to the arrest of three Bangladeshi citizens at the same time, there is intense tension in the area. On March 25, Saturday at 3:00 PM, the police of Irani police station sent three Bangladeshi citizens who came illegally to the Kailasahar court. In this regard, Jatindra Das, OC of Irani police station, told media at 2 pm on Friday that Gopinathpur village is located in the international border area of India-Bangladesh under Latiapura village panchayat under Irani police station.
On Friday afternoon, three Bangladeshi nationals illegally crossed the India-Bangladesh international border at Gopinathpur village and the BSF on duty arrested the three and took them to Latiapura BSF BOP and interrogated them for a long time.
Three Bangladeshi citizens were taken to the police station and handed over to the police of the Iranian police station. OC Jatindra Das also said that the names of Bangladeshi citizens who came illegally are Abdul Goffar, Zeelan Mia, Saiful Islam. Their home is Kakabala village in Moulabi Bazar district of Bangladesh. OC Jatindra Das also said that two Bangladeshi mobile phones and Bangladeshi rupees Rs.2580 were recovered from the three persons.
