AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): Although storms of criticism trigged among the opposition supporters against Congress, CPI-M’s decision of going with Tipra Motha again since Pradyot Manikya thanked Union Home Minister Amit Shah for calling him and assuring to appoint interlocutor for a constitutional solution, added by missing of Tipra Motha candidates during nomination submission of Congress MLA Gopal Roy, Jitendra Chowdhury told media that nonparticipation of Tipra Motha MLAs means nothing and because Tipra Motha had proposed the name of Gopal Roy, and that’s why oppositions have given candidate.
Jitendra Chowdhury said, Tipra Motha MLA Animesh Debbarma had proposed the name of Gopal Roy as Speaker candidate.
On being asked, whether the opposition talked to any BJP MLA requesting to cast vote for Gopal Roy, Chowdhury said, there were no such secret talks but opposition openly invited everyone to cast vote for Tipra Motha.

Right now total 59 MLAs are in the Assembly since Central Minister Pratima Bhowmik resigned from MLA post. Minister cum BJP’s another MLA Sushanta Chowdhury is hospitalized. It is expected that Chowdhury will cast his vote tomorrow as he is stable now. CM Manik Saha and other Cabinet Ministers have met him at ILS hospital today.
