AGARTALA, March 22 (TIWN): The ceramic-artists are busy in Agartala to make Durga idols ahead of Bashanti Puja 2023. Goddess Bashanti is another name of Goddess Durga and both puja have equal significance.
The Bashanti puja will start from March 27 and on March 28 the first puja day that is Saptami will be observed.
The puja will end with Dhashami on 31st March.
Talking to an artist in Agartala, he said, the prices of idols are same like last year. There is a little rise of idols demands as the numbers of puja have been increased recently. Profit is at moderate rate that is not too high or too low.
In Durga temples of Tripura, Bashanti puja is observed royally. Since Royal era, various temples in Tripura were dedicated for Goddess Durga, Bhubaneswari, Laxmi.
