AGARTALA, March 21 (TIWN): A thief was arrested by the police of AD Nagar PS last night. And after interrogating the thief AD Nagar PS Police led a search operation at a shop in Maharajganj Bazar.

The detained thief is identified as Samir Das of Amtali area. It is reported that Samir sold stolen items at Dilip Kumar Saha’s shop and based on this information Police led a search operation in Dilip Kumar Saha’s shop but the owner during the raid was absent.

The shop’s staffs could not able to provide some documents.

Now, it is to be seen what action the Police will take against the shop owner if found guilty.
