AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): A woman named Maya Rani Das, a seller of stolen goods was detained by the police of West Police Station and Battala outpost.

The accused woman was detained from Dasamighat area. Allegation raised against her that she has been sheltering thieves and purchasing all stolen items from the thieves.

The police recovered a large number of stolen goods like brass and copper from the woman's house.

However, Police after detaining the woman brought her to West PS and started an investigation and thorough interrogation.
