AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha raised question over poll results of 2023 Assembly where Govt employees' support was shown lacking for the BJP. However, CM Dr. Manik Saha said that there will be a deep analysis about where the Govt is lagging to get the votes of the employees. Releasing 5 years pending DA’s major portion just ahead of Election although could create an impression about BJP Govt’s pro-employee picture before the population but employees did their own calculation and the answer was given in postal ballot voting. Infact the DA was less than the previous Left Front Govt’s 5 years calculation and the Opposition Left Front ahead of 2023 Election promised to start life-time pension scheme for all which was removed by BJP Govt in Tripura following the Central guidelines.

Today while addressing Rabindra Bhawan, CM Dr. Manik Saha said, “We are with you (employees) but it seems you do not want to stay with the Govt. We have given so much. But still what exactly happened, we will analyze surely. But I request you to stay with the Govt, because the result (poll result) is showing a different picture”.

However, will CM go through the harsh speeches delivered from 2018 to 2022 May till he became the CM against employees by sacked CM Biplab Deb multiple times, added by leaders like Biswabandhu Sen who threatened employees to break their bones and Ratan Lal Nath who in MTB school made lady teachers cry before media, in Sonamura school, Ratan Lal Nath called teachers "smugglers"? Since the beginning Biplab Deb declared war against employees with his clear notion “Govt Jobs are expenditure” causing losses to the Govt. Biplab Deb tortured, and insulted employees for their Facebook posts and constantly called all Govt employees who got jobs before 2018 to be CPI-M agents.

However, whether this Govt under CM Dr. Manik Saha learns a lesson from the previous mistakes or not, only time will show.
