AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): 3 persons of the state Tripura allegedly looted 22 lakhs from a Kerala women. In connection to the case, Kerala Police arrested three youths from Teliamura. The three accused persons are Kumar Jamatia, Saroj Debbarma and Sanjit Debbarma. Two months ago, one of them stole Rs 22 lakh from the woman in several steps. Talking to a senior Lawyer, he said, “Under Case No-5/2022 U/S 66D under Act 2000 and Section 419/ 420/ 34 of Indian Penal code 1860 of Cyber Crime Police Station of Thiruvananthapuram investigated the case. Last year, the woman was trapped by the frauds and one of the men had trapped her into a love affair and then by pressuring her, they looted Rs. 22.75 lakhs from the woman in phases in various accounts and cheated the woman. At last the culprit did not marry her which forced her to lodge FIR".
