UDAIPUR, March 18 (TIWN): Jamatia Community's people on Saturday have celebrated its age-old traditional festival and offered "puja" at Udaipur Shib Bari and Matabari to mark the 433 years old traditional ritual.

The program was organized by Jamatia Hoda committee. Baba Garia Mission General Secretary Padmahari Jamatia told media that as per tradition the first prayer was offered to Lord Shiva in Mahadeb Bari and then Mata Tripura Sundari was worshipped.

From 302 villages thousands of people come to celebrate this festival.

Every year in different locations the puja is held. This year the festival will be held in Udaipur Noabari and in Amarpur.

Cultural programs will be held in those areas and people from various parts of the state to join the function.
