AGARTALA, March 17 (TIWN): Ganja seized again and the incident took place on the Assam Agartala National Highway in the area adjacent to Mungiakami Bazaar under Mungiakami police station on Friday morning.
According to the details of the incident, acting on tip-off, police of Mungiakami PS under the leadership of Teliamura sub-divisional police officer Prasun Kanti Tripura led a raid in Mungiakami area. During the raid the Police seized 35 packets i.e. 350 kg of dry cannabis from a Vehicle Number- MH05AM208
Along with the seizure, the police of Mungiakami PS arrested the driver named Bhushan Roy, a resident of Bihar state.
The market value of the seized Gaza will be approximately Rs 7 lakh, said the Sub-Divisional Police Officer. The ganja was reportedly smuggling to outside from Agartala.
