AGARTALA, March 15 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha held a review meeting with new Finance Minister Prajanjit Singha Roy and other officials of the Finance Dept.

In last 5 years former Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman was the Finance Minister. In 2023 Assembly poll, Debbarman could not accel the poll, as was defeated by opposition Tipra Motha candidate.

Pranajit Singha Roy has been appointed as the Finance Minister for next 5 years.

Sharing some glimpses of the meeting, CM Dr. Manik Saha posted, “Chaired a review meeting of the Finance Dept along with Finance Minister Shri Pranajit Singha Roy & other officials at the conference hall no-1 of the Secretariat”.
