AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): Ahead of oath taking as MLAs ADC Dy CEM Animesh Debbarma and Executive Member Chitta Ranjan Debbarma tendered resignation from their respective position of executive member, TTAADC. Both the newly elected MLAs will continue to serve people in their new role. However, there is a possibility that from Opposition Party, Tipra Motha to turn ruling party by aligning with BJP if Union Home Ministry gives constitutional solution assurance in written form. However, although it was promised that constitutional solution will be given, so far no interlocutor has been appointed as per promise by Home Minister Amit Shah which has kept the alliance with BJP still in cloud.
On the other hand, three cabinet posts are vacant which are speculated might be distributed to Tipra Motha. However, CM Manik Saha did not make any comment regarding that. On being asked by media, Saha said that all three posts to be filled up soon and there is nothing to discuss about as in 2018 also gradually all seats were filled up. Saha said such reshufflings are normal practice under the Modi Govt from Center to States.
Four Ministers of BJP Govt under CM Manik Saha has got a continuation of their Ministry under the BJP Govt are : 1) Ratan Lal Nath (known famously as Education and Law Minister), 2) Sushanta Chowdhury (ICAT dept & Sports), 3) Santana Chakma (Animal welfare, Social), 4) Pranajit Singha Roy (Transport Minister).
Four new faces have been introduced in the Cabinet replacing four faces --- Ram Prasad Pal, Manoj Deb, Rampada Jamatia, Bhagaban Das. The new faces are Tinku Roy, Shuklacharan Noyatia, Bikas Debbarma, Sudhangshu Das. Other Cabinet Ministers are Ratan Lal Nath, Sushant Chowdhury, Santana Chakma, Pranajit Singh Roy.
