AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): On Tuesday Ramjoy Reang from Birchandra Manu in South District brought a buffalo to Matabari to sacrifice. But the Buffalo suddenly got freed from the rope and started running.

Five bikes, a scooty, several shops and a house were damaged in the buffalo rampage.

Later the buffalo was caught by locals after a long effort but in this rampage 2 injured critically and many received minor injuries. A youth named Biswajit Das, was also injured.

It is alleged that despite informing the Fire Service, the personnel didn’t rush to the spot on time.
