Chandpur village of Bilthai Gram Panchayat area of Yuvraj Nagar Assembly Constituency has been allegedly undergoing political violence after the counting of votes.

About 90% of the people in the village are dependent on the rubber industry. Entire village’s people are directly or indirectly affected by such violence incidents.

Around 1200 rubber trees were burnt to ashes. The area belonged to of Paresh Chandra Nath, Debashish Nath, Dipu Nath, Dilip Nath and Brajendra Nath.

Even though a case has been registered at Panisagar police station.
