AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha who has returned Tripura from New Delhi after meeting PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and also the President of India has joined the victory rally in Agartala. The rally was held in Bordowali, the constituency which belonged to CM Dr. Manik Saha.Manik Saha has won by 1,257 votes and got 19586 votes against Congress candidate Asish Saha who secured 18329 votes. CM told media that people have voted for development and in the entire state people have voted for BJP because they have observed the developmental works which have been done by BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP senior leaders, and youth leaders were present at the rally. AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder, BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee also were present in the rally. A massive numbers of rally participants were seen in playing Holi with Saffron colour, danced throughout the rally.
Tripura Election was held on 16th February and result was declared on March 2nd.
BJP marked the victory with 32 seats out of 60 seats and with IPFT, the BJP-IPFT has formed Govt with 33 seats.
So far 8 Ministers’ names have been declared and more 3 Ministers’ names are to be declared.
