AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): Conflict reported among BJP V/s BJP in Krishnapur after Nalchar.
Krishnapur Assembly Constituency’s BJP supporters accused Krishnapur Mandal Leader Ranjit Sarkar, Khowai District Leader Nirmal Sarkar and Madhya Krishnapur Gram Panchayat No. 2 Member Sujit Das of trying to create conflict among party workers after BJP’s victory rally. The incident took place in Booth No.- 17 of Madhya Krishnapur Gram Panchayat under Krishnapur Assembly Constituency.
The common BJP workers have made many allegations of corruption against Ranjit Sarkar, Nirmal Sarkar and Sujit Das. It is alleged that on the occasion of the BJP’s victory, on March 11 of this month, the BJP workers held victory rally across the state. And on that day, a victory rally was also held in Krishnapur Assembly constituency in presence of MLA Vikas Debbarma. But Krishnapur Mandal leader Ranjit Sarkar, Khowai District leader Nirmal Sarkar and Madhya Krishnapur Gram Panchayat Ward No. 2 member Sujit Das are collecting money from the CPI(M) supporters of the area to hold a victory march in Krishnapur assembly constituency for the 2nd time on Tuesday.
Centering the collection of money a turmoil like situation was created in the area among BJP’s two groups and to control the situation, Teliamura PS Police rushed to the spot
Within moments, the arbitration meeting was also held in the area. On the other hand, Sujit Das, a member of Ward No. 2 of Madhya Krishnapur Gram Panchayat was involved in a brick theft scam long ago, according to local sources.
