The incident took place in the area adjacent to Surjamoni Nagar’s Bandhan Bank area of Babul Chaumuni.

The bike was going towards Agartala on the national highway at high speed. While overtaking another bike, the bike had hit a woman.

The woman is a resident of Amtali area. Local residents informed 102 Ambulance and took her to Hapania Hospital. The fire service also came to the spot after receiving the information.

The police of Amtali police station seized the bike.

The biker was also taken to Hapania Hospital with minor injuries.
