AGARTALA, March 12 (TIWN): BJP’s former MLA Subhash Chandra Das of Nalchar Assembly Constituency was threatened and also attacked on Saturday evening by some miscreants at school ground in his village Chandanmura.

It is alleged that miscreants on Saturday evening started abusing verbally to the former MLA Subhash Chandra Das, and when the eyewitness and the MLA's two sons came forward to resist the attackers, the miscreants beat up the MLA along with his two sons. While leaving the spot the miscreants allegedly threatened the Ex-MLA Subhash Chandra Das of Nalchar Assembly Constituency, including his two sons to kill them and to burn down their house within a few days.

Ex-MLA Subhash Chandra Das alleged that the attackers were of CPIM supporters.

The former MLA Subhash Chandra Das filed a written complaint against the assailants at Sonamura PS and informed the incident to the party's senior leadership.
