AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): CPI-M Party office was attacked, Bomb was hurled in Sonamura from BJP’s Victory rally, allegedly. It is reported that BJP held Victory rally in Sonamura after winning and from the Victory rally BJP’s supporters allegedly, vandalized CPIM’s party office in Sonamura and also bomb was hurled. Several shops and houses in the city were narrowly spared.

In today's victory rally, the presence of party leaders as well as a large number of workers and supporters was observed. But the surprising thing is that the party office of the opposition CPIM in Sonamura was vandalized and set on fire during the victory celebration.

Fire Department's personnel and police administration rushed to the incident.

A CPIM leader after the CPIM party office vandalism incident, blaming the ruling BJP said that if ruling party takes action against the violence then 1-2 incidents can happen but not frequent violence.
