AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder visited Chandrapur market which was set on fire by miscreants after the poll.

Addressing media, the Mayor said, when the poll was completed peacefully, a group of people did it aiming to damage the Govt’s image and CM Dr. Manik Saha’s image.

“Nobody will be spared. Administration will take action against each culprit. CM has called for no-violence and it will be strictly followed”, he said.

Mayor assured that the affected families will be helped financially from the Govt side.

At last 5 shops were fully burnt and few were partially damaged in the incidents.
