AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): Terrorism continues in Boxnagar, from looting shops, and setting fire to houses to vandalism, all that has been going on after result declaration. The ruling party alleges that the opposition is generating attacks and vandalism in various areas and the opposition are saying that the ruling party is behind all the attacks and vandalism but the ground fact is ordinary traders are going through huge losses at the end due to Post-Poll Violence.

At around 10:30 pm last night, miscreants set fire to 7 shops in North Kalamchoura Chowmuhanibazar in Boxanagar area and 7 shops were burnt to ashes due to lack of fire service in the localities, reportedly

It is reported that pesticide shops, xerox- computers shops, salon shops, vegetable shops were burnt into ashes in the devastating fire. Moreover, miscreants looted and destroyed the goods which directly kicked on the trader’s stomach as without trade the traders will face difficulties to run their families.

Despite the peace meeting held by the administration, unrest, terrible atmosphere is being created, and peace and harmony are being destroyed.

Several people were arrested after attacks, but all were given bail by the court. It is alleged that the ruling party terror is being established in the entire Boxnagar area, and the common public is living in fear.
