AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): Tripura Peoples Party placed deputation to DGP over Post Poll Violence at Police Headquarters. A delegation member of Tripura Peoples Party said that on the result declaration day from 2nd March a terror like situation has been going on across the state. It is alleged that the ruling party by using miscreants has been organizing attacks and vandalism at various areas. Also it is alleged that in the Constituencies where Tipra Motha party won there the Tipra Motha supporters organising attacks on common people in the area.

Tripura Peoples Party condemning the ongoing attacks by Tipra Motha party supporters and BJP supporters after result declaration, stated that the Post Poll Violence should be stopped immediately and also demanded the arrest of miscreants by finding out. Demand raised to provide security to the victim families including an adequate amount of compensation.

Total 8 number of delegates members placed deputation to the DGP under the leadership of Prabin Singha, secretary of Tripura Peoples Party.
