AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): On Sunday morning, a man named Deepak Debbarma beat up a young man named Pranab Das over land dispute in the Melarmath area. The local people of the Melarmath area, after witnessing the incident rescued injured Pranab Das in bloody state and brought him to GB Hospital for treatment.

There was an ongoing issue between Deepak Debbarma and Pranab Das over shop-ownership. Meanwhile, the owner of the place Pranab Das filed a case in the court against it. The court gave verdict in favour of Pranab Das and directed Deepak Debbarma to vacate the premises, but Deepak Debbarma occupied the area of Pranab Das without paying attention to the court order.

Meanwhile, after Pranab Das went out for a morning walk on Sunday morning, Deepak Debbarma allegedly hit Pranab Das with a wooden stick on his head and face.

The family of Pranab Das informed that a case will be filed against Deepak Debbarma at West PS.
