AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya lashed out at CPI-M for blaming his Tipra Motha party for their defeat.

Pradyot Manikya asked CPI-M to accept the fact that they failed to find out the problem in their support base.

On a social media status, Pradyot Manikya said, “Majority of the Tiprasa voted for Motha ! Majority of the Muslims voted for CPIM and majority of the general areas voted for BJP - yet the general areas leaders from the opposition blame us for them not getting their own communities’ support ! For 25 years because of Tiprasa votes CPI-M ruled Tripura but when the face of CPI-M CM was Jitendra Choudhury then even in Sabroom he narrowly won because TIPRA did not put up a candidate ! Why ? Till yesterday When Amit shah was calling me a CPI-M, congress agent it was all right for these leaders but when majority of the general people have voted for BJP then you accuse us . Accept the fact that the problem is in your support base. Be it in Tripura, West Bengal or in Silchar. BJP is the most popular party amongst the Hindu Bengali community in most parts of the state of Tripura and the non-Tiprasa and Non-minority leaders must accept this fact”.
