AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): Congress’s winner candidate of Kailashahar53 constituency Birjit Sinha on Saturday visited house to house who have been attacked by BJP after the Election results.

Addressing media, Birjit Sinha said, in Chandipur, Fatikroy, Pabiachara and even under Kailashahar constituency massive attacks on voters, opposition workers are underway.

Talking about an attack which took place on Congress worker’s home, he said, around 100 BJP workers in a group entered the home, vandalized the house, looted and then stretched bikes and set on fire in front of police. Police allegedly said, they could not do anything due to massive numbers of miscreants being engaged in that attack.

Birjit Sinha has won the constituency with 3351 votes against BJP candidate Moboswar Ali. Total voters were 9705.
