AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): A five-year-old daughter was raped by her step father in Udaipur Matabari.

R.K.Pur Women PS Police said, complaint was received from Kumarghat police station to RK Pur police station against a man in Matabari area for raping his five-year-old girl.

Based on the complaint, the police of RK Pur police arrested the accused from Matabari area on Tuesday afternoon.

The accused was interrogated for several hours. After the truth of the incident came out, a case was registered at RK Pur Women Police Station. 376(AB) POCSO Act has been imposed against the accused.
