AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): To inspect the law and order situation in South District CEO Kiran Gitte has visited South District and held series of meetings taking DGP and ADGP beside. CEO Kiran Gittee, DGP Amitabh Ranjan and ADGP law and order Subhash Ranjan reached the Circuit House today morning at 9am. It is known that review meeting was held about vote counting and election issues. The meeting was held at Belonia Circuit House at 11:30 am on Thursday under the leadership of Election Commission Kiran Gitte. Apart from this, South District Magistrate Saju Wahid A, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ratan Bhowmik, District Superintendent of Police Kulwant Singh, SDPO Abhijit Das and other high-ranking officials of the district and sub-divisional security administration were present in the review meeting.
Instruction was given to ensure that the counting of votes should be done properly. Election Commission Kiran Gitte in today's meeting, ordered strict vigilance should be done to maintain a peaceful atmosphere across the district. After ending the meeting, Election Commission Kiran Gitte along with DGP Amitabh Ranjan and ADGP Subhash Ranjan left for Goumati District as meeting will be held there, reportedly. The administration's activity across Belonia was at a peak on Monday morning centering the Election Commission's visit.
The meeting was held with high -ranking officials of the administration, including the district and sub -divisional administration. A review meeting was conducted to check the situation over there.
