TIWN Feb 22, 2023

AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): A remarkable drop was noticed in 2023 Class-10 Board Examination’s eligible student’s numbers in comparison to the last year, whereas in case of Class-12, the number of students has increased by over thousand students.
Talking to media, TBSE President Bhabotosh Saha said that in Madhyamik the number of students is lower might be because good numbers of schools have been converted into CBSE whereas in case of Class-12 the number is high might be because all students were passed during Covid-19 in 2021 and that’s why the volume is high.
Madhyamik and HS exams will start on 15th March. In Madhyamik total numbers of enrolled candidates is 38116 and in Higher Secondary 33435.
