AGARTALA, Feb 13 (TIWN): Congress organised a campaign with auto and several bikes, scooties in Radhanagar area and while moving in front of BJP office in Radhamadhav Temple, BJP allegedly organised attack on them and also provoked violence.
That incident erupted Clash between BJP and Congress party in the area adjacent to Radhanagar Radhamadhav Temple in 6-Agartala Assembly constituency.
BJP workers alleged that their party office was vandalized. Centering the incident 6-Agartala Assembly constituency’s nominated Candidate Papia Datta said, 20-25 Congress workers pelted stones at BJP’s booth office. Papiya Datta warned Congress’s MLA Sudip Barman to attack him and his family.
On the other hand, Congress MLA Sudip Barman has called for self-defence if BJP attempts to attack any voter or opposition worker, candidate, polling agent.
