AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN): Allegation raised against BJP for destroying opposition flags in Charilam.
It is known a meeting was supposed to organize in Jorpukur area in Charilam for candidate Ashok Debbarma, the Congress candidate of CPI(M) and Congress alliance. Accordingly, the CPIM-Congress supporters jointly decorated the area with flags.
But miscreants burnt all the CPI-M and Congress’s party flags in Jorpukur area in Bishramganj, threw them in ponds, drains, on trees late on Saturday night.
The incident came to light on Sunday morning.
The opposition CPIM-Congress supporters stated that they will file a case against the BJP miscreants in Bishramganj PS.
