AGARTALA, Jan 24 (TIWN): Due to Election Commission’s strict instructions, Tripura Police is now finally capable to take neutral actions ahead of Assembly Poll after five years of BJP tyranny, pressure on Police for illegal actions and motivated statements and today BJP’s another dirty political blueprint of triggering tension in the state centering attack on SC Morcha leader has been punctured by Tripura Police. Since morning, the situation was heated up after a local of Banamalipur was injured in a brutal attack by his business rivals. Local sources initially said that the people who were involved in the clash all are from BJP and it was BJP's internal clash although CM Manik Saha accused Congress for that.
Also, BJP CM, Ex-CM leaders including Party State President Rajib Bhattacharjee, MLA Ratan Chakraborty said that four persons are involved in the crime and the injured persons took their name and they are Congress workers. Rubbishing all the rumors police clearly stated only persons’ names were taken by the victim and both are arrested, adding the issue was a ‘business rivalry’ and purely personal.
Tripura Police on its social media site posted, “One Suman Das was attacked this morning by a sharp cutting weapon in the Aralia Area, Agartala. He could identify and share name of two attackers during treatment. Both of them have been arrested. Prima facie it is a case of business rivalry. Patrolling has been intensified”.
SDPO Ajay Kumar Das also has given a verbal statement confirming the incident was 'Personal' rivalry.
