Initially, the college had no building also, and during the Left Govt era built IGM hospital’s new building rooms were used as the college but still the college needed basic infrastructure and Professors, but taking the issue as a matter of ego-fight, the Dental Council of India was allegedly pressurized to give permission for the dental college and on 17th December, 2022 the college was inaugurated.

But no treatment so far could be done in the proper manner there. In another unwanted report, a woman’s facial shape was damaged due to amateur doctors there.

The victim patient who came to remove her tooth has been identified as Suniti Rani Sarkar.

Suniti Rani Sarkar’s daughter slammed the Doctors while talking to the media about the incident.

“They took four hours to remove her teeth. First, she was kept seated for hours saying no equipment is available. Then they cut the wrong place. When my mother was bleeding to suppress the matter they said, nothing happened and stitched her face. If this is the condition of a Medical College, where should we go?
