AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): Just before a week, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury slammed 10323 teachers’ matter saying ‘It’s already a closed chapter’ and creation of the Left Govt. Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath also declared that BJP Govt has no liability for the 10323 teachers. 10323 teachers were treated inhumanly multiple times and CM refused to meet them but on Monday, on being asked, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha sounded totally different and said that the Govt is trying its level best to sort out the 10323 teachers.

Saha replying TIWN Journalist’s question said, “We want to give them jobs but there is a concern if any contempt of court happens. The 10323 teachers are placing their legal point of view and I am in continuous touch with our legal team about it. Let’s see what can be done”.

10323 teachers were terminated by Court but recently an RTI from the Supreme Court has clarified that not all 10323 teachers were a party of the judgment. Only a few numbers of teachers’ jobs were challenged. On that perspective, 10323 teachers are now battling for restoration of their jobs.
