AGARTALA, Jan 2 (TIWN): In the Southern part of Tripura Diarrhea cases are on rise turning a matter of concern for other parts of the state too.
Among the patients, the number of patients in Mai Chhara sub-health center and Bilonia sub-district hospital is highest.
South District Chief Health Officer Dr. Subrata Das appealed to everyone to maintain safety while visiting the Mai Chhara primary health center.
In recent days, there has been an increase in the incidence of stomach diseases in various parts of the subdivision. Out of which most of such patients are coming from East Kalabaria Gram Panchayat area under Maichhara Primary Health Centre.
It is known that this disease is spreading widely from two places, especially Gachbaria and Kalabaria. The Chief Health Officer also visited these two areas besides visiting Maichhara Primary Health Centre. His initial idea is that this kind of incident is happening because of unhygienic water.
