Indian housewife murdered under Bishalgarh PS: Accused husband roam free at Bangladesh

AGARTALA, January 17 (TIWN): Indian housewife brutally murdered allegedly by her Bangladeshi husband Akhtar Hussein. The incident occurred at Dakhin Koiadaba area under Bishalgrah Police Station on Friday evening. Killing his wife Safia Khatun, the accused husband fled to Bangladesh, said police. Talking to TIWN today the Bishalgarh Police said the accused husband chopped off his wife’s face and left the sharp cutter aside. However later police recovered the cutter but failed to arrest the husband as he fled away to Bangladesh killing his wife, said Police.

The incident occurred on Friday evening, when one Indian housewife who was married to Akhtar Hussein (Bangladeshi) since 15 to 20 years back was chopped off by her husband. According to the police the accused husband later killing his wife fled to Bangladesh. Later victim’s younger son who at present resides at Agartala getting an alarm rushed to his home today morning and found his mother lying dead. The victim was surviving with her two son, but recently the younger son is residing at Agartala while the elder son with mother at Dakhin Koiadaba under Bishalgarh Police Station.

The Bishalgarh police today talking to TIWN further added that victim Safia Khatun was married to Akhtar Hussein (Bangladeshi) since 15 to 20 years back and later after she gives birth to at least two boy children the husband Akhtar fled to Bangladesh at his hometown. Though, previously after their marriage both husband and wife used to live together. But most surprisingly on Friday husband Akhtar came here at Bishalgarh Dakhin Koiadaba and killed his wife and then again fled to Bangladesh, said Police.

However police recovered one sharp cutter that was used while killing the victim. Later asked about the arrest of the accused husband, Police today said that to detain the culprit the BSF will conduct a flagship meeting with the BGB.
