AGARTALA, January 17 (TIWN): On yet another bizarre incident recently a callous and a hardhearted father has been arrested on charge of attempt to bury his 10 years old daughter alive at the backyard of his residence along the Indo-Bangla border under Kalamcherra Police Station.
The incident occurred at around 7:00 AM, when the ruthless father Abul Hussein on his callous drive tried to bury his 10 years old daughter alive near his resident along the Indo-Bangla border. Talking to TIWN today the Kalamcherra Police said that the arrested father has been booked under the attempt to murder case, and is under 5 days police remand at present.
According to the police, the accused father Abul Hussein often used to torture her daughter and wife. “But most surprisingly the mother of the child has not registered any single case with the police since one year”, said Police.
Whereas on the other according to the victim, the incident occurred after she dropped a glass of water at her home, and later making this an issue her father Abul Hussein carried her at the backyard of their house and tried to bury her alive, said victim. She further added that during the incident her mother was nearby but has not came forward to rescue her.
Following the incident police today said that when the victim’s mother went for a REGA work, father Abul Hussein getting a chance tried to bury her 10 years old daughter. And later getting an alarm the neighbours rushed to the spot and rescued the child.
The police further added that if the mother would have lodge case than the police would have sent the child to the juvenile home.
However the court to record the statement of the victim today, said police.
