UDAIPUR, January 16 (TIWN): In less than five months, state is again undergoing sheer crisis of Petrol, diesel, CNG. From Sabroom to Dharamanagar- same miserable situation prevails everywhere. Whenever, the Transport Minister or any officials in the Transport Department are asked about the ongoing crisis, they are saying almost the same words," Now I am busy in a meeting. You call later on" or "administration is doing its best to solve the crisis." But during the last four days in almost all the petrol pumps of the state a signboard is hanging throughout the days and night," No Petrol"/ "Diesel Nai (No Diesel)". Quite naturally long queues are now found in front of all the petrol pumps. Interestingly during the last four days only one petrol pump operator is selling petrol or diesel each day.

Today only the petrol pump of Ganaraj Chowmahani is distributing petrol and diesel. To make the matter worse even the CNG operators have stopped supplying CNG. It is to be mentioned here that more than five thousand auto drivers are now depending on CNG for their mere survival. It is learnt that the only CNG station in the entire Gomati district has mysteriously gone out of order. Speaking to TIWN over phone some of them complained," We are now facing a great problem simply to earn bread for our family. All on a sudden CNG station is showing ' Supply of CNG stopped due to technical repairing.' Even the administration can't give confirmation when CNG will be available."

Meanwhile the black marketers are now having the best of their time. Taming the advantage they are selling petrol at Rs 100/- to Rs 150/- per liter. It is however not clear, if the pump operators can't have enough how can these black marketers able to sell petrol and diesel? Is the administration aware of it or is the administration giving the black marketers some sorts of profit earning scope? Whatever the reason may be , the fact is that the common mass are now facing difficulties. For the average commuters it is very irritating to go through arguing with the auto drivers on exorbitant fare rates.

Post of Director, Food & Civil supplies Dept. unfortunately in the  hand of such an IAS officer(nominated)  that when he  was DM South in 2014, he was famous for inefficiency and corruption.
