AGARTALA, Dec 20 (TIWN): Congress becoming strong in the state and this is proving the ruling BJP repeatedly by attacking Congress activists. On Monday night, Malin Das (76) and his wife Kanika Das (70), a resident of Kalaban Dashpara area of Udaipur Mata Bari Assembly Constituency, entered their house and hit them with a stick brutally for joining Congress activities.

The allegation was raised against Rahul Karmakar, Rahul Dey and Sujan Ghosh and 7-8 miscreants. It is alleged that the entire attack was done under the leadership of Suman Baidya. After the attack the injured were taken to the Hospital for treatment.

Abhijit Sarkar, a district committee member of the Indian National Congress, confronting media said that Kanika Das suffered a lot of damage under her eyes and her husband Malin Das leg was broken in this attack.
