AGARTALA, Dec 16 (TIWN): 10323 teachers who are on Hunger Strike has alleged that Prime Minister Modi has failed to give them a Hira Era as 10323 teachers’ issues were never solved. The hunger strike group asked Prime Minister Modi to solve their problems at the earliest so that they can say that a HIRA era truly has come. On the other hand, JMC 10323 teachers’ leader Bijoy Krishna Saha has appealed to 10323 teachers to join in a protest at Paradise Chowmuhani on 17th October, a day before PM Modi’s arrival.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP party had assured the 10323 teachers that their problems will be solved once the BJP to be voted to power but after 5 years of governance BJP Govt could not solve their problem which has left the 10323 teachers jobless for the last 35 months.
10323 teachers started movement since the Left era but due to various complicated situations erupted the movement was paused many times, but under BJP era 10323 teachers movement was repeatedly stopped by the Govt by using police machinery. The biggest protest of 10323 teachers which marked in the history of teachers’ protest was started by Joint Movement Committee (JMC) in 2022 which was stopped by BJP Govt by launching heavy police violence against the teachers leaving over 500 teachers injured.
10323 teachers are of the view now that not all 10323 teachers’ job were terminated and the only few numbers of teachers who are parts of the verdict their jobs also could be saved and the verdict have given the provision.
