AGARTALA, Dec 15 (TIWN): Former, sacked Chief Minister Biplab Deb who spoiled BJP’s reputation in last four years now set aside by the BJP High Command. Biplab Deb was infamous for his comedy, illogical speeches, untrusted due to his fake promises like AIIMS hospital, 10 lakhs compensation to each Covid deceased’s family, ship in Sonamura etc, and was hated for his hate-speeches, attacks on media and anyone who criticise him. However, introducing a difference in leadership, Chief Minister Manik Saha has proven that he did not only bluffed but what he demanded from the Centre was logical and finally a 50 seated Dental college has been permitted by Dental Council of India which was his dream project, and it has been arranged within limited infrastructure of the state’s IGM hospital.
Dental Council of India has permitted Tripura Govt to start Dental Medical College in Tripura. The project was initiated by Chief Minister Manik Saha who himself has been a dentist and a professor throughout his career. Chief Minister Manik Saha himself held a press meet and read out the letter of permission in front of media. Saha informed that total 50 seats will be there and 7% reserved for the Govt of India where probably Northeast students to be given preference. The Dental council has permitted that.
Session to be started from 2023-24 and via NEET the admission will be done.
“As PM Modi is arriving on 18th December so the college to be inaugurated by PM Modi himself”, said Manik Saha.
