AGARTALA, Dec 15 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury on Thursday slammed BJP led State Govt for extreme misuses of administration for political propaganda. Addressing media, Jitendra Chowdhury at Melarmath Party office said, “PM Modi is visiting Tripura and as the Prime Minister he has the authority to visit anywhere but the way a political program has been attempted to show as a Govt program it’s shocking. However, Jitendra Chowdhury’s statement gets ground as all BJP leaders were seen at Astabal ground with the administration which made the occasion looked like a party program but later it was known that the Prime Minister’s program will be held at Govt’s expense.

“Not only political parties but the public are also saying that public funds are getting misused. The public is unhappy with how criminals are given shelter by the administration”, said Chowdhury.

“In Charilam 30th November our party worker Sahid Mia who was 75 years old was brutally murdered by BJP in broad daylight. Deputy CM has provoked the incident directly and directly involved with the entire incident. A school was renamed in Charilam after former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee where the guest of honor was Rajkumar Debnath, a Mandal leader and one of the Prime accused of Sahid Mia’s murder case, shared the dais with Deputy CM and all high govt officials. BJP Govt has insulted former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee by inviting the murder accused in the program as the guest of honour”.
