AGARTALA, Dec 14 (TIWN): Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address from the Astabal stadium at 1.30 PM on 18th December. Centering this, preparations is going on at the party level and also at the administrative level. In 2018 Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised Tripura about excellent governance comparing it with a HIRA (means diamond) explaining further HIRA in actual means H for Highways, I for I-Ways, R for Roadways and A for Airways. However, Railway which started developing massively in 2016 remained so far at a stable state whereas in other sectors no development came. Highways development in fact was at a much faster rate whereas Communist Govt’s IT Industry had yet to get a positive sign in this era.
Road and Airways did not progress in flight operations much though CPI-M Govt time’s International Airport was inaugurated by PM Modi claiming it’s a BJP era’s project.
In the case of 50,000 Govt jobs, 7th Pay Commissions, and similar promises BJP’s report card remains red-marked whereas in political violence the state has been amongst the top states in India leaving 26 opposition workers murdered.
However, preparations are at peak centering PM Modi’s arrival on 18th December. Today BJP leaders, Ministers, police, and Govt officials visited Astabal ground to inspect the arrangement and to ensure the safety measurements.
