AGARTALA, Dec 12 (TIWN): Congress leader Asish Saha met the victims at IGM Hospital who were beaten up by police during an agitation in front of Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s home.

Condemning Police brutality on STGT Job Aspirants in front of Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s home, Congress leader Asish Saha said that such actions by police were never seen in Tripura before the BJP Govt but now it has become a trend that whenever people are raising voice this so called “Rashtrabadi Sarkar” is attacking them.

“Over 40 STGT Qualified Unemployed Youths were attacked by Police when they were protesting in front of Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath's home. They are qualified and seeking their rights. I condemn the incident and assure the affected unemployed youths that we will stand with them”, said Asish Saha.
