AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): 18 days later, in Chantail Gram Panchayat area of Kailashahar, in the dark of night the name of Muslim Palli J.B. School was intentionally changed to Hindu Palli J.B. School by unknown miscreants to create a Communal tension in the area. After noticing it in the morning intense tension started among the villagers. After receiving the information about the incident, the police of Kailasahar PS rushed to the spot and seized the coloured box along with the poster and brought it to the PS.

In this regard the in-charge of the school, Deepak Deb told the reporters, in the early hours of December 11, the village people called him and told him that someone had changed the name of the school. As soon as the in-charge of the school Deepak Deb came to the spot after hearing the news, a large number of policemen and villagers also gathered at the spot and noticed Muslim Palli J.B. School were erased with black ink and Hindu Palli J.B. School was written on one side of the board.

Unknown miscreants also threatened, if anyone changes the school name to Muslim Palli JB School, and then they know what to do with the Muslims of local area and will send the Muslims of this area to the right place, also a picture of two swords was attached with Jai Shriram written below. The police rushed to the spot and removed the two paper posters written on the two ends of the board and confiscated the posters and brought them to the police station.

The incident is trying to create communal tension in the area, and also trying to destroy the bond of brotherhood among Hindu- Muslim. Conscious citizens of the area strongly condemned and protested this incident
