AGARTALA, Dec 9 (TIWN): 10,323 teachers on Friday organised a Protest Program against the Govt’s silent role towards them as the Govt not yet taken any initiative to return their lost jobs. Seeking jobs several times they held protests but in return the ruling Govt did not take any initiative to return their jobs.

Confronting media a terminated teacher Kamal Deb said, “On 28th State’s CM Manik Saha by responding to former CM Manik Sarkar’s call met with us (10,323 teachers members) to how to solve their issue. He (CM Manik Saha) told us after meeting with legal expertise on 1st Phase, he will take initiative how to send us (10,323 teachers) to School. As CM kept his given promise by organising a meeting on 1st Phase, today almost 20 days crossed but he failed to keep his  2nd Phase’s promise, said Deb.

Deb requested the Govt that after 2nd Phase’s meeting immediately send the teachers to School within a week.

The terminated teacher Kamal Deb raised the pathetic condition of 10,323 teachers’ issue as they are jobless over 36 months and they are going through an extreme financial Crisis. He also said that total 146 teachers have died so far, besides he asked, “After how many deaths will you show humanity?”
